Trance found it quietly amusing that they thought a security officer, whether one or many, would actually be able to stop her if force became necessary. Trance didn't know Agent Learmont or Vice Admiral Tyrrel, but she knew others like them. She just hoped they were more like the officers of the Old Commonwealth than the New, or the 'officials' floating around during the Long Night.

Besides, conversations, whether they were actually conversations or interrogations, never went well with Trance.
